Winter
Parrot Care
Heating and Humidity
When the cooler weather rolls in, the heat comes
on. As we heat our homes the indoor humidity drops. This can and
will cause sinus problems in parrots (and all birds). Amazon parrots
are very sensitive to dry humidity. There are a couple of things
you can do to help your parrot with the winter climate change.
- Humidifiers, either whole house or room humidifiers
all help to add moisture to the air which soothes parrots sinuses
- Take your parrot into the shower with you.
The shower will also add humidity to which is good for the skin.
Many parrots love the mist from the shower which promotes pruning.
- Fresh clean water is a must for every bird.
Educate
Yourself About Parrots
These are Facinating Animals
The more you educate yourself about parrots,
the more fascinating they become. These creatures are just two generations
from their wild ancestors so they are unlike dogs and cats who are
domesticated. Until they are trained and socialized, they will make
no attempt to please their companion or their families. I strongly
urge you to look into training techniques as early as possible.
That is not to say that an older parrot can't be trained, however,
younger birds are easier to train.
Warning
signs your bird is POISONED
Behavior Specialist blows
lid off the bird toy industry... Special
report reveals how many toy manufacturers are selling you toys with
toxins and poisons that may be slowly killing your birds.
Not ALL websites that sell toys fall into this
negligent category. But we do think you owe it to your bird to do
your due diligence to make sure the website you are buying from
is selling safe toys for your bird.

This report includes a long list of "warning
signs" that your bird may be suffering from metal toxicity.
However, you know your bird best!
If his behavior is "off"... If he seems
in a bad mood... If he's developing behavior problems like feather
plucking... It's better to be safe than sorry and take your bird
to the vet!
And it's also a good idea to get in the habit
of weighing your birds regularly. That's how we noticed that our
Sun Conure, "Mango," was sick. We took him to the vet,
and it turns out he'd have been dead in less than 24 hours if we
hadn't. She was suffering from metal toxicity!
Plus, an ounce of prevention is worth a truckload
of cure!
In this report, you are shown where to purchase
toys that have been tested and proven to be 100% toxin-free and
safe for your birds. They even show you how to get six FREE toys!
So make sure you read this carefully:
